EN Our kitchen uses ten different types of Mexican corn, to be enjoyed in quesadillas, tetelas, sopas, totopos, pasteles and tacos. This is not common yellow sweetcorn, but rather the maíz criollo, indigenous corn that formed the cornerstone of all the great Meso-American societies. We buy our corn directly from small-scale farmers in Southern Mexico, whose wives taught us how to make proper tortillas, making us part of a tradition going back thousands of years.
We only use ingredients produced with respect for people, animals and the environment, and which we process on site to make salsas, tortillas, longaniza, aguas frescas and more.

At this moment we are sorry not to be able to welcome groups in our cosy restaurant.
For future info, please note that for groups from 8 persons and up a downpayment of €10 per person is required. Also, we recommend choosing a closed menu (the reservations system will automatically show you the options) and not to enjoy our dishes à la carte as this may result in some getting their order later than others.
We also cater and do workshops. Please inform with us about the possibilities.

CONTROL QUESTIONS UPON ARRIVAL
A compulsory inspection interview must be held upon receipt at the restaurant. If you have to answer yes to any of the following questions, we are unfortunately not allowed to give you access.
1. Have you had one or more of the following (mild) complaints in the past 24 hours or at the moment: a cold, cough, shortness of breath and / or fever (from 38 degrees Celsius)?
2. Do you currently have a roommate / family member with a fever and / or shortness of breath?
3. Have you had the new coronavirus (diagnosed with a lab test) and has it been diagnosed in the past 7 days?
4. Do you have a roommate / family member with the new coronavirus (determined by a laboratory test) and did you have contact with this roommate / family member less than 14 days ago while he / she still had complaints?
5. Are you quarantined because you have had direct contact with someone who has been diagnosed with the new corona virus?
Due to the corona regulations we can only accept guests with a reservation.

a. A maximum of 2 persons may sit at a table, unless it concerns a joint household consisting of more persons. NB: a different maximum (less or more) number of persons may be permitted under the locally / regionally applicable emergency ordinance, in which case the provision of the emergency ordinance applies.
b. there may only be seats on the terrace.

3. The Catering Establishment may refuse guests if there are suspected colds and / or flu complaints
